About Interiority

Ruendree Govinder has more than 15 years experience in technology and electronic information management in the non-profit sector. She decided early on to combine her computer expertise with her social conscience, and focussed her energy on helping non-profit organisations navigate the digital world. Not only does she have extensive technical skill in designing and developing websites and cultivating social media communities, she has considerable editorial experience in print media as well. This grounding in more traditional media gives her an ease and familiarity with text that is often lacking in the technical fields.

Ruen has worked to bridge the digital divide for her non profit clients; not only bringing them up to speed, but showing them how to use technology economically and tailor it to their individual needs and capacities.  She is an award winning web developer and has worked with many clients including Robben Island Museum, Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, Black Sash, University of Cape Town Departments, Red Cross Children’s Hospital, the District Six Museum, and many more. This gives her a vast and intimate knowledge of the sector, it’s needs and future direction.
